Hurlingham Suite at The Hurlingham Club

Hurlingham Suite

A distinguished, lofty area with glazed windows running the entire length of the south façade, The Hurlingham Suite looks out on the green lawns of Hurlingham and the River Thames. Guests and delegates enter via the columned entrance, on the Four In Hand Yard, into the elegant, long glazed Palm Court and Orangery. From here, the suite of function rooms provide a myriad of adaptable venues that lend themselves to any occasion.

Terrace Room at The Hurlingham Club

Terrace Room

An original part of the Georgian Clubhouse, the Terrace Room is self-contained with the whole external wall made up of floor to ceiling windows, opening up the room and overlooking the immaculate croquet and bowls greens. Inspired by the delightful garden architecture of the Hurlingham Club, a trompe l’oeil has been painted in the Terrace Room by the Italian trained artist Clarissa Parish. The double doors linking the Terrace Room to the adjoining Quadrangle Room provides greater scope for numbers and function type.

Crowning the East Wing, the glass domed Palm Court & Orangery provide an unrivalled focal point, whether an elegant and intimate bar or a striking and dramatic stage set. The York Stone floor and removable soft furnishings guide visitors from north to south along the length of the East Wing, providing access to the various events rooms leading off the Palm Court, culminating in the Orangery, which overlooks the lawns leading down to the river.

Broomhouse Suite at The Hurlingham Club

Broomhouse Suite

Located at the furthest corner of the East Wing, the Broomhouse Room benefits from two exterior walls that enjoy floor to ceiling windows, which frame and provide access to the Fountain Terrace and its unique water feature. First-class haute cuisine served here and in every other quarter at Hurlingham, can be indulged in while surrounded by a green oasis of tradition.

Quadrangle Suite at The Hurlingham Club

Quadrangle Suite

This striking space has south facing, floor to ceiling windows running the length of the room, framing the magnificent Hurlingham gardens and lawns that stretch to the Thames embankment. In the summer, with the doors thrown open onto the terrace, it would be hard to find more magnificent and distinguished surroundings. The Quadrangle is linked by double doors to the adjoining Terrace Room, an ideal location for a breakout room or discrete refreshment area.

Napier Room at The Hurlingham Club

Gardens at The Hurlingham Club

Gardens

Often described as ‘a green oasis’ within the hustle and bustle of London, the Club’s gardens have received many awards over the years for their beauty and diversity. Throughout the calendar, flower beds of seasonal interest and splendour, together with the perfectly manicured lawns make for the perfect setting for an afternoon’s stroll or a ramble with the dog. Make sure you also take the time to admire the many species of wildfowl on and around the lake and see if you can catch glimpses of the Club’s varied wildlife.
